mngl took this great shot in Mongolia at the Naadam (Наадам) festival of Mongolia, celebrating the Mongolian Revolution in 1921. I love the colors of the costumes and the great sense of scale with the crowd in the background. mngl writes: "The festival sometimes is called "Eriin Gurvan Naadam," meaning "men's three variety of games," where Mongolian wrestling, horse racing and archery are the only ones that are held throughout the country and are widely known in Mongolia (Women participate in all but the wrestling category)."
