The movement and the clarity combined with the black & white make this a work of art. Even the little everyday moments in life made interesting.

Congratulations Jason!

This appealed to me the moment I saw it. The depth of field gives it an even more ominous feeling than it already conveys. The color scheme definitely adds to the feeling of darkness.

284 steps to the top of the Arc de Triomphe!!

This is an instant fav for me taken by Shelley. The ghosts of people and their steady hands make for a really intriguing shot of the spiral staircase in the Arc de Triomphe. Thanks for sharing in the Wednesday theme and keep climbing!

What a magnificent capture! It's as if the raspberry is floating in air. The color is a real contrast against the white. Perfectly timed.

I chose this photo as it almost looks like the stars are spinning. The matte color of the ornaments is a great contest. It's a wonderful photo in the spirit of the season.

I think only fans of "Hitchhikers' Guide to the Galaxy" got where I was going that, but it was truly interesting to see where people went with that hunt. As steph.A says, "Chocolate is always the answer" and honestly, I can't argue with that one iota. Congrats to Steph.A and to see all her entries in a slideshow - click here.
